Communication Development
Through a variety of opportunities and programs, DAPA trains people with disability to improve their communication and social skills, develop their social networks as well as build their confidence.
Every Monday, we have a routine meeting for all the participants. Every participant has to speak and report the work he/she did during the previous week, mainly focusing on the data entry progress most of the participants are doing for ManyMindsApp. Meanwhile all the participants are encouraged to exchange their opinions and make suggestions, etc.
At DAPA, participants have opportunities to study Cert III course in Disability Services in flexible way and the qualified teachers come to DAPA to teach and answer questions regularly. Learning this course is also helpful in improving communication skills.
